What did I do today?

Forenoon

  • Recited English words
  • Optimized Anki
  • Created tasks on JIRA for recent jobs
  • Progress Meeting
  • Checked progress of Arsenal network-graph(There was something wrong again….)
  • Discussed with a product manager of F10(He wants to upgrade the pages of 1A0001)
  • Reviewed the xmind document written by a colleague.
  • Recorded my schedules.

Afternoon

  • Tried out the Rotten Tomato
  • Discussed how to improve the attractive of the Rotten Tomato
  • Code Review(the Rotten Tomato)
  • Code Review(the Arsenal Network-Graph)
  • Thought about the algorithm about components(It’s purely a waste of time)
  • Something I forgot
  • Checked the network-graph of Arsenal(WTF! Did ZP want to die? He always works as a young baby, even he is actually in his 30th.)
  • Something I forgot

Night

  • Solved tasks on the free code camp(It really stick me)
  • Talked with LXD(More than an hour)

Don’t leave your ears idle

Listening is a large question to me. It will be the biggest obstacle on my way to success. I think the key factor is that I don’t spend much time on it(The total time I have ever spent on listening may be less than 50 hours, even less).

Today I have heard a word:

Don’t leave your ears idle.

I should create an environment to immerse myself in listening to English. In the morning, at noon, at night, at any time if I am not busy.

If I have heard enough materials, my listening will be well enough. As the saying goes:

Quantitative change leads to qualitative change.

Express your mind

I always think that I am a mind-lacking man. But when I talk to others, I usually come out with some awesome thoughts.

So there must be something which can motivate my ability of thinking, I think it is the expression.

When I talk to somebody face to face, I will express my feelings, my opinions, my principles. These are all about my mind. I think of them and speak them out, then some new thoughts will jump into my mind.

Do more communications and get inspired thoughts from them.

Make sentences with my mind

My thoughts are really shallow so that nobody can be convinced by me.

I have lagged behind colleagues in the front-end skills.

My job has caused my life to rattle this year, so I made some giant decisions recently, they will turn my entire life upside down.

Statistics show that the best way to apply data visualization is data-journalism.
